When Buckingham Palace announced the news that Princess Beatrice and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi had wed in a private ceremony in Windsor this morning, the spokesperson kept details about the royal wedding's guest list to a minimum.

The statement only noted that "the small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family," and "the wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines."

Town & Country can now confirm that Edo's son Wolfie was also at the All Saints Chapel this morning, and that he played a key role in today's event. "Wolfie was there, and played an important role in the wedding," a source close to the family tells T&C.

Prior to dating Princess Beatrice, Mozzi was in a longterm relationship with architect and designer Dara Huang. The couple welcomed their first child, Christopher Woolf "Wolfie" Mapelli Mozzi, in 2016. While Mozzi and Huang separated in the years following their son's birth, they appear to have a good relationship.

"I wish the best for Edo and Beatrice and look forward to uniting our families," Huang told the Daily Mail, shortly after the royal engagement was announced last fall. That said, the source confirms Huang was not in attendance at today's nuptials.

The source also described the royal wedding as "intimate," and shared that "under 20 people" were invited to the ceremony. And while the ceremony was a surprise to the media today, it had been "planned for some time" and scheduled to accommodate the Queen.
