Elderly Man's Instagram Account Goes Viral for His Gushing Posts About His Wife

There are a bunch of reasons why someone's Instagram account might go viral. Maybe you're a photographer with a quirky new idea. Maybe you're a cartoonist with lots of funny sketches. Perhaps you've got yourself an adorable new pet that you've been showing off to the world.

But some Instagram accounts go viral simply because they're just plain nice.

Lauren Skell from Chichester, England tweeted on Sunday about the Instagram account of an elderly man she knows called Geoffrey Walker. Or perhaps we should call him, the sweetest man on Instagram.

At the time of this writing, her tweet has been shared over 30,000 times Although Walker only follows 97 people on Instagram, he now has over 6000 people following him.

And we can see why. His account is a mixture of quotes, pictures of his family, and — most notably — heartwarmingly captioned photos of his wife, Pauline.

It's time for elevenses
