Elizabeth Hurley stuns in a pink Roberto Cavalli dress: 'Finally left the house'

Elizabeth Hurley hit up a special shop for her latest look.

The Austin Powers star, 56, took to Instagram on Feb. 18 to share a photo of herself wearing a pink gown with a plunging neckline. She captioned the post, “I finally left the house. I shopped from my closet and a @roberto_cavalli from 2009 fluttered its eyelashes at me.”

The event in question was one day prior to her post. Hurley and her 19-year-old son Damian Hurley headed out to the London Claridge hotel in order to celebrate actress Joan Collins' 88th birthday and 20th wedding anniversary, according to People.

Hurley got much love for her look in the comments section. One follower wrote, “You are the most beautiful woman in the world,” while another added, “That particular 2009 Cavalli knew exactly what it was doing!”

While Hurley has posted many photos of herself in full-on glam for special occasions, the star has recently been more inclined to post bikini pics. Hurley, who founded swimwear line Elizabeth Hurley Beach, recently shared a photo of herself sporting a white bathing suit to Instagram, which she captioned, “Happy weekend.”

Last year, Hurley spoke to Yahoo Life about how, at the end of the day, her bikini pics are about one thing: selling the suits.

"I wouldn't say I never take it seriously, but it's a little tongue in cheek most of the time because when you're selling something, which is your own business, everyone knows what I'm doing,” she explained. “I'm selling bikinis. I'm not saying, 'Don't I look fabulous, everyone, this is how I am' — I'm selling a bikini."

Hurley also said she hopes she inspires women over 50 to wear their bathing suits with pride.

"I've always had more female followers than male; I've always really loved that," she continued. "And I think women definitely like that I'm not hiding just because I'm over 50. Everybody still goes on holiday or goes to the beach or needs to swim. And I just think it's pretty tough if women think they have to cover up because we're not in our 20s anymore and perfect. Of course, once you're older, you think everybody's perfect who's younger than you. I think people respond well to that."
