Elle Fanning's Sundance Style Is What Winter Fashion Dreams Are Made Of
Sure, we’re all familiar with winter white. But what about winter pink?
Rising style star Elle Fanning was a pastel powerhouse in Utah on Tuesday, wearing a giant baby blue bow-tie beneath a belted, blush-colored coat to Glamour and Girlgaze’s Films Powered by Women luncheon at the Sundance Film Festival. The soft pink coat hails from Max Mara’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection, which is not yet available for sale (though similar looks can be found on the brand’s website).
Fanning, who is in Park City to promote her new indie drama, Sidney Hall, paired the blush belted topper with the same wide-leg black trousers she wore to navigate the festival this weekend, proving that yes, sometimes stars are just like us — in that sometimes, they too recycle clothing while living out of a suitcase.

The younger sister of Dakota, who has become quite the fashion darling in the past year, shared a Boomerang video of herself trekking through the snow in the coat, her necessities packed away in a Miu Miu backpack adorned with patches and her head kept toasty warm thanks to a Gucci Roaring Tiger beanie. Fans were all about her choice of outerwear, filling up the comments with praise (“I love that coat!!!”).
The blonde starlet does not eschew the aforementioned winter white, however. She later changed into a cute white sweater dress with a scoop neck to attend a GOOGLE HOME & Super Crispy Films event celebrating Sidney Hall, proving that freezing temperatures or not, the younger Fanning sister’s commitment to fashion remains undeterred.
