Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has honored Daenerys Targaryen in the most special (and permanent) way. Last night, the actress debuted a new tattoo on her right wrist featuring a trio flying dragons-a homage to Dany's three beloved "children."

She revealed her new ink on Instagram, writing "MOD 4 LYFE!!!!🔥@_dr_woo_made sure this mamma ain’t NEVER forgetting her babies.... 😍." MOD stands for Mother of Dragons, one of her character's signature epithets.

Clarke also included hilarious hashtags that read "Don't worry I only briefly passed out," "With fyre and ink baby," "MOD got hooked upp," and, "Couldn't be happier if I tried."

Another video, taken by Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Dr. Woo, shows the actress flaunting her tattoo to the camera. "Mother dragon in the house!" Woo exclaims.

Clarke isn't the only GoT cast member to get ink inspired by the series. Sophie Turner, who play Sansa Stark, recently got a wolf tattoo with the quote, "The pack survives," to honor her character. She also has a matching tattoo with onscreen sister Maisie Williams of the date they got their roles: "07.08.09."

Considering Game of Thrones is officially ending next year, it's understandable that its stars-some of who have been on the show for almost a decade-would want to commemorate the series in a personal way.

Earlier this week, Clarke attended the Emmys, where Game of Thrones took home the award for Outstanding Drama Series. She stunned in a sheer Dior dress with embroidered floral details, a slicked back bun, and tons of gorgeous bling.

She also presented the award for "Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series" alongside Millie Bobbie Brown.
