Emma Stone Serves Up Retro Vibes in a Stunning Wine-Red Dress

Thanks to multiple appearances to promote her upcoming film La La Land, Emma Stone has had many a red carpet opportunity to showcase her stylish sensibility as of late--and she has been seriously killing it.
In the past few months, the gorgeous redhead has stepped out in a flirty pastel yellow mini with all-over embellishments, a sparkling fringed gown, and even a few lingerie-inspired dresses.

Her most recent look, however, wasn't from one of her own red carpets: On Sunday she visited the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., to support her friend and fellow actor Bill Murray as he accepted the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Stone looked gorgeous in a maroon-hued Prada dress with a 1920s-inspired drop waist and a silver-embellished pleated skirt, with matching silver accents at the waist and along the dress's straps. The 27-year-old actress accessorized with silver strappy heels and wore a smoky eye, a red-stained lip, and her red lob in loose waves.

The award, which has seen past recipients including Steve Martin, Jay Leno, and Ellen DeGeneres, was a huge honor of Murray, who, according to the Washington Post, jokingly said in his acceptance speech, "My theme tonight is what is it like to be beloved ... It's hard to listen to all those people be nice to you. You just get so suspicious."

After a night of performances from Miley Cyrus and Rhiannon Gidden, a speech about the honoree from Stone herself, and plenty of hilarious video clips and stories featuring the iconic comedian, Murray ended the night on a heartfelt note by telling the crowd, "as much as I dreaded this, I really have to come back to this idea: There's love. There's love."
