Emma Watson's Country Club-Approved Outfit Is Just Missing a Gin and Tonic

Even her cardigan placement belongs on the tennis court.

In case you missed the memo, preppy is back — that is, according to Rowing Blazers, J. Crew, and Emma Watson, who just wore a Prada outfit so stealth wealth it looked as if she stepped right off the perfectly landscaped lawn of a suburban country club.

On Wednesday the actress was photographed in Milan wearing a crisp white button-up and a navy blue mini-length pencil skirt with large gold buttons on the front. A luxe white Prada shoulder bag and pointy-toe ivory sling-back kitten heels completed the look. Watson stayed true to the country club-approved aesthetic by wrapping her coordinating white cardigan around her shoulders rather than putting her arms through the sleeves (it's practically a rite of passage in the waspy world of suburbia).

Watson wore her caramel lob in a gently tousled side part, and opted for a very simple makeup look that included mascara and a subtle pink lip color.

The star is in Milan to take in Prada's runway show tomorrow. Watson recently joined forces with the brand to make her directorial debut with a film promoting its fragrance, Paradoxe, and something tells us the feminist pioneer will be sitting front row at Miuccia Prada and Raf Simmons's show tomorrow.

Watson also brought an adorable travel companion along for the ride: her pup Sofia (who she adopted in Mexico last year, per Vogue). She and her off-leash fur baby (who she called more "angel" than dog in an Instagram post) were photographed stepping out for a stroll together.

Before she jetted off to Milan, Watson made a stop in London to attend Vogue World: London last week alongside the likes of Sienna Miller, Gemma Chan, Princess Eugenie, Jodie Turner-Smith, and others.
