Like previous red carpets, during the 71st annual Emmy Awards, our favourite stars pulled out all the stops to bring us major fashion inspiration.
As we awaited top-rated dramas like “Game of Thrones” and “This is Us” and fan-favourite comedies like “Fleabag” and Prime Original’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” to take home big wins in their categories, we handpicked the best red carpet fashion trends.
And by coincidence, fan-favourite actresses like Regina King, Mandy Moore, Annie Murphy and Lavern Cox paid homage to nostalgia and gave our favourite trends from our teenage years a new and elevated rep. From the not-so-surprising combination of red and pink to sequins to tulle, here are the trends we expect to see everywhere very soon.
