England to start Euro 2020 with Croatia rematch, Wales drawn with Italy plus full draw

England begin their quest for Euro 2020 glory with a huge match against Croatia in a rematch of the 2018 World Cup semi-final.

Goals from Ivan Perisic and Mario Mandzukic broke England hearts in Moscow but the Three Lions did gain a measure of revenge in a 2-1 Wembley win in the Nations League.

The two teams were drawn in Group D, where England will play all their matches in northwest London.

Should Scotland make it through their playoff path, they will also join England setting up another potential huge match in the opening round.

Czech Republic, who inflicted a rare defeat on England in qualifying, make up the group.

Holders Portugal will be in Group E with three-time winners Germany and current world champions France in a potential ‘group of death‘ along with one of Iceland, Romania, Bulgaria or Hungary.

Wales have been drawn in Group A alongside Italy, Turkey and Switzerland.

One of Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland - should either make it through the playoffs - will go into Group E alongside Spain, Sweden and Poland.

The final tournament will be held in 12 cities in 12 countries across the continent from 12 June to 12 July.
