In an exclusive with HOLA! USA the actress and husband José Bastón announced the birth of their first child together, a son named Santiago Enrique Bastón on June 19th.

Longoria delivered her baby boy who weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old actress shared a photo of her holding her newborn son while wearing a “Santiago” necklace.

“We are so grateful for this blessing,” Longoria told the magazine.

While this is the first child for the former “Desperate Housewives” actress and producer, it is the fourth child for 50-year-old Bastón, who has children from a previous marriage.

The couple met in 2013 after Longoria was introduced to José “Pepe” Bastón, the president of Latin media company Televisa, by a mutual friend.

“He was the most handsome man I’d ever seen,” Longoria said of their meeting. “He was so charismatic, charming, sweet and funny. I thought, ‘Who is this guy?!’”

Longoria married Bastón in 2016 in a lavish ceremony at their lake house in Valle de Bravo, Mexico.

“I want to yell from the highest mountaintop about everything that goes on with us because I’m so happy and excited to be with a person as kind as Pepe is,” the star gushed after her engagement. “He is probably one of the first men I’ve dated that has been older and established and, basically, a grown-up.”

In December 2017, Longoria announced her pregnancy on social media with the sweet caption, “New year, new adventures! I’m so grateful to my beautiful family for giving this new baby so much love already.”
