Attention, Meghan Markle fans! The Duchess of Sussex’s favourite brand, Everlane, has just released a sophisticated and environmentally friendly knit shoe that is sure to pair with any outfit this summer.

We all know that Meghan is a fan of sustainable fashion - for her first official date with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto, she opted for a gorgeous $175 congac-coloured tote from the brand that quickly sold out. The bag is now back in stock, but it’s the new knit version of their iconic Day Glove we’re currently drooling over.

Oh, and by the way — while the ReKnit Day Glove doesn’t officially launch until Thursday, you can shop it early via this link.

The website boasts that it offers the same elements of the classic Day Glove that shoppers love, like a tab for pull on ease, a cushioned leather insole for all day support and a flexible rubber outsole for traction.

“Ultra-lightweight with a unique rib pattern—we’re obsessed with our new ReKnit fabric,” explains a release on Everlane’s site. “Plus, it’s made from renewed plastic bottles— eight per pair, to be exact.”

The fabric is also breathable so your feet won’t sweat during the warmer days and comes in five summer-ready hues, including pink, red and yellow.

As well as creating ethically conscious items, the brand is also looking to decrease their footprint even further in the future by committing to no new plastic in their supply chain past the year 2021.

“Whether it’s replacing all synthetic fabrics with renewed materials or eliminating all single-use plastic from our offices and stores, we’re working to reduce our impact on the planet,” says Everlane’s website.

Shoes that are cute and good for the environment? Yes, please!
