We might still be in peak winter conditions here in Canada — but one of our favourite retailers has us longing for spring — and even the rain that comes with it.

Everlane has just released a Windbreaker, as well as new shades of their Anorak that will keep you looking stylish even when it’s stormy and grey out.

The jackets are part of the retailer’s sustainable ReNew line which means that they are made of 100 per cent recycled fabrics, except for the zippers and trim which currently can’t be sourced from recycled materials (they say they’re working on a solution). The Windbreaker is derived from 21 plastic water bottles, while the Anorak is made from 28.

“Water-resistant and lightweight, the ReNew Windbreaker features a spacious hood, a double-zipped front, and an adjustable waist so you can wear it loose or cinch it for a sportier look,” says the Everlane website.

The Windbreaker is available in four shades that are perfect for spring, like this sunny hemp colour.

The longer Anorak jacket now comes in six colours and will keep you dry during the worst of spring’s storms.

“Deciding which jacket to wear just got a lot easier,” says the Everlane website. “Water-resistant and lightweight, the ReNew Anorak features a spacious hood, a double-zipped front, and easy snap closures.”
