Fashion Nova Unveils Kylie Jenner Birthday Behavior Collection
Kylie Jenner clearly knows how to ring in a birthday. From releasing a new makeup collection to partying it up with friends and fam, she’s done the absolute most to commemorate her 21st year of life. Now, Fashion Nova is attempting to capitalize on the trend in the most Fashion Nova way possible: The Instagram-favorite brand just announced they're creating duplicates of her birthday party looks in record time.
According to a 'gram posted by the brand on Friday, August 10, the collection is comprised of three styles. The Birthday Bash Sequin Romper is a budget version of the Swarovski-studded LaBourjoisie jumpsuit Kylie wore to her party, while the Twenty Fun Satin Dress is an exact copy of her Peter Dundas dress. Look number three, the Cut To The Chase Mini Dress, is a copy of the custom Yeezy number seen on Kim Kardashian the night of the bash. No release date has been announced yet, but that "coming soon" sure seems ominous.
On social media, people were quick to call out exactly how head-spinning the product recreation was. "The devil works hard but Fashion Nova works harder," one person wrote. At publish time, neither LaBourjoisie or designer Nadim Olivera Soudaiha have responded to the jumpsuit's duplication, nor has Dundas or Yeezy responded to the duplication of the other dresses.
Kylie and Fashion Nova go way back, and the star has even promoted the retailer’s selection of body-hugging garments on Instagram multiple times. FashionNova.com even boasts a separate Kylie section where shoppers can find a whopping 190 looks seen on the star, but those are all 'fits Fashion Nova originated. If you want to channel Kylie's birthday looks, it's OK to find inspiration in her pink satin or her all-over crystals — but if you're looking to purchase the exact looks, it's best to go straight to the source for each.
