Most women get rid of body hair off at the first sign of trouble (ahem, stubble). Razors, shaving cream, waxing - you name it, we've all tried it. Morgan Mikenas, however, hasn't shaved in over a year. Why? She believes women shouldn't be bound to societal norms, and wants everyone to find confidence in natural beauty.

She spreads her inspiring message on social media. Amid food posts, fitness updates and pet pictures, you'll find some very hairy shots of this fitness blogger's armpits and legs on her Instagram profile. She wears her body hair loud and proud, and we love it.

"If you are focused on being true to yourself in every moment, you are less concerned what others think, which will lead to peace of mind. When you have nothing to hide and you can freely be yourself, there is a profound peace/confidence you will emanate to the world that will inspire others," she wrote on a recent Instagram post.

She tags many of her posts with the hashtag #BodyHairDontCare, and her amazing message has touched many people already. "Your positive vibes and confidence are seriously infectious!" one girl commented on her photo. "This is extremely powerful ... thank you for being a light in this world," wrote another.

Mikenas says she wasn't always this confident about herself. When she was younger, kids joked about her hairy legs, and she admitted she felt ashamed. Only after she finally shaved would she feel sexy again.

About a year ago, however, Mikenas thought long and hard about why she takes the time to shave, and finally decided to just let it grow. The results made her happier than ever. "I freakin' love my body hair," she told Self. "I just like being my most natural and human self."

Her journey is definitely motivational, but Mikenas says she's not trying to get women everywhere to stop shaving their bodies. "I just want to inspire others … What works for you? What makes you feel the most comfortable?" she said in a recent YouTube Video.

In a world obsessed with perfection, Mikenas is doing her best to show girls that the only thing you need is confidence.

"I just hope to make others feel more comfortable by showing my "imperfections," she wrote on her Facebook page. "Social media only shows the highlights, and it is my goal to be raw/genuine … to show the good and the bad … because the world needs more of that."
