A Florida Woman Just Found a 54-Year-Old Wedding Album In Her Ceiling

You never know what kind of treasures you'll come across when renovating an old home. Just ask Megan Kapsidis and her husband, Bobby, who recently came across a precious possession when working on their Florida house: a wedding album dated to 1963.

Megan and Bob were demolishing part of the ceiling when an alligator purse fell down, followed by the album titled, "Our Children's Wedding", reports Pix11 News. The couple believes that part of the ceiling was a crawl space at one time, where previous owners must have stored things.

Inside the book is an invitation to the September 14, 1963, nuptials of Marguerite and Joseph Garguilo, at St. Thomas Apostle R.C. Church in Woodhaven, New York, with a reception in the New York Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn. The bride's parents' names are Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Lau.

"Anyone know Marguerite and Joseph Gargiulo?!" Megan shared in a Facebook post, along with several shots she snapped from the book. "I want to return this album to them or their family! Spread the word!"

The word did indeed spread, with stories on Pix11 News, Fox News, and Inside Edition, as well as dozens of people commenting with leads and suggestions about who the couple might be. A few commenters seem to have found records indicating that Marguerite has since remarried.

Still, Megan hasn't received verification. And if they're still together, Colin Spoelman, the co-founder of Kings County Distillery, is offering to throw them a 54th wedding anniversary party at his business-the same building where the Garguilos' reception took place! Do you recognize the bride and groom?
