Frank Skinner cancels Edinburgh Fringe show over family issue
Frank Skinner has cancelled his sold out Edinburgh Fringe Festival show due to a "family health issue".
The Midlands comedian was set to perform his 30 Years Of Dirt stand-up show throughout August beginning on the 4 August and concluding on the 24 August.
A spokesperson for Skinner confirmed that he had cancelled all shows: "Due to a family health issue, Frank Skinner is unable to travel for the foreseeable future, therefore his sold-out 30 Years of Dirt stand-up show at Assembly, Edinburgh this August has regrettably been cancelled. All ticket holders will receive a full refund."

Despite the health issue, Skinner will continue to host his show on Absolute Radio as normal.
The Edinburgh Fringe is the biggest comedy festival in the UK and one of the most famous in the world.
Skinner first performed there in 1987 and in 1991 won the festival's most prestigious award for best show.
A number of well known names are performing at the festival this year after a tough couple of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic with no event taking place in 2020 and just a small affair in 2021.
Omid Djalili is set to perform this year after first being booked for the festival in 1993 where he played to an audience of three.
Rachel Parris, best known for her appearances on Late Night Mash and Live at the Apollo will also be performing at the Fringe as is her husband Marcus Brigstocke.
Actor Alan Cumming is also bringing his one man show about poet Robert Burns to the festival.
Burn, based on the life of the great Scottish poet can be seen at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 4 to 10 August.
