The year 2020 has stressed everybody TF out. And for a lot of people, that stress has been showing up as a never-ending breakout.

Of course, you've got to keep your retinols or AHAs on deck, as well as a vitamin C serum to clear up any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and exercise can help too. But a bunch of celebs all just started sharing both their secret skincare and workout hacks that have helped them stay glowing in quarantine. And clearly it works.

The good news is that it's super easy for you to get in on it too, and free for U.S. citizens. All you have to do is just one teeny tiny thing: go vote, and vote early if you can.

Crazy how that works, huh?

Zoë Kravitz started the trend back on Oct. 6, posting a dewy fresh selfie on Instagram with her absentee ballot.

"so. a lot of you have been asking me about my skin care routine: i start by voting as early as possible for #joebiden and #kamalaharris and all the other democratic candidates," she wrote as her caption. "then try some eye cream if you haven't been sleeping well because the president is a racist."

Actress and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna was next to encourage her followers to vote early, and posted a photo of herself in a sequin bikini to get the word out.

She wrote a caption similar to Kravitz's. "So a lot of you have been asking about my diet and exercise routine: I start by voting as early as possible for #joebiden and #kamalaharris and all of the other democratic candidates. Then try @isaacboots Torch’d class which will tone dat ass so then you can kick some white supremacists ass cuz the president is racist. This was inspired by @zoeisabellakravitz 🙌🏻 #vote."

Jenna Dewan also got in on the important trend. And while she didn't endorse any specific candidate, she said voting early was a major part of her postpartum diet and exercise plan after giving birth to her son in early March.

Now Elle Fanning is the latest celeb to participate, posting a selfie with her mail-in ballot on Oct. 10, as she showed off "That #voteearly glow !"

Roundtable Discussion with Elizabeth Warren on the 2020 Presidential Election

U.S. Senator, Elizabeth Warren speaks to InStyle on the 2020 Presidential Election and the importance of voting.

But here's the thing, though: while the physical act of voting won't do anything to curb a breakout or give you the abs of your dreams, it can give you a sense of control. This in turn can help to relieve stress so you can avoid any potential future skin flare-ups (hopefully) for the rest of 2020 and beyond.

Plus, there's no doubt that participating in the most important election of our lifetime will give you one hell of a glow. So go vote.
