FYI: These Are Walmart's Memorial Day Hours

·1 min read

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor those who have sacrificed their lives. Rightfully, it's a federal holiday, and because of that, many stores and businesses across America are closed. However, Walmart will remain open on Memorial Day this year.

What are Walmart's Memorial Day hours?

Most Walmarts across the United States will be open for regular business hours — 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. — on Memorial Day. Of course, before you head out, you should call your local store or check the company’s website just to make sure.

Just an FYI: Walmart is usually open during all holidays except Christmas. It does close early on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

What other stores are open on Memorial Day?

If Walmart doesn't have what you need (or isn't your go-to spot!), these stores will also be open on Monday, May 31:

  • Aldi: Most stores are open for limited hours.

  • CVS: Most stores are open 24 hours. Please call ahead for pharmacy schedule.

  • Kroger: Hours vary based on location.

  • Publix: Most stores are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Target: Most stores are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Trader Joe's: Hours vary based on location.

  • Whole Foods: Hours vary based on location.
