Season 8 episode 5 'The Bells' saw Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) victorious, but also becoming the 'Mad Queen' in the process.

The short teaser shows the Mother of Dragons walking through a devastated King's Landing, as her army, as well as Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) look on.

So how will the series end?

Joe Dempsie, who plays Gendry, previously told Digital Spy that it is impossible to make everyone happy.

"There's millions of people waiting with bated breath, and they've all got their own idea about how to do it. You can't possibly please everyone," he said.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys, has also said that the last ever episode could very well be divisive.

"People will scream and people will say, 'That's exactly what I wanted'. And some people will go, 'Huh?' – my mum, probably," she said.

Elsewhere, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) said that "not every person is going to be happy with the conclusion" and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) shared the same sentiment, saying: "I don't think anyone is going to be satisfied."
