Everyone has their yearly holiday traditions. For Gayle King, 68, it includes showing off her strong physique in Mexico for her sixth annual swimsuit photoshoot. The CBS Mornings anchor, joined by her niece, Mekenzye Schwab, posted a series of Instagram photos on Monday where she looked strong all over in several gorgeous swimsuits.

Swipe, and you'll see Gayle posing in a yellow crochet swimsuit, followed by a black-and-white number, and finally, a red, pink, and white one-piece. Of course, these looks also put her strong arms and toned legs on full display.

“Back by popular demand: Our annual Thanksgiving swimsuit photo shoot with fav niece @mknzschwb. It all started as a joke in 2017 where I was making fun of Mekenzye and now it’s turned into a thing….but full disclosure everybody looks good taking a picture at @rwmayakoba in Cancun! Highly recommend,” she captioned the post.

Gayle’s followers jumped in her comments to praise her sculpted arms and slim legs, with one writing, “Girrrrlllllllll you look amazing 🤩 You go Gayle.” Others just left a lot of heart and fire emojis.

If you're sitting here wondering what Gayle's secret to staying so strong while also balancing a super-busy career, you're not alone. Gayle has made it clear that she does her best to fit in a sweat sesh whenever she’s not on the clock, per a 2020 interview with ELLE. And she tries to focus on the positives of moving her body.

“I've been reading this book about the joy of movement, and I do think there's something to that. I'm not saying I like working out. I'm just saying I do it,” she said. “I do the treadmill, I do the elliptical, and I do weights. But I'm not going to sit here and say, 'Oh my god, I love it.'"

Gayle has also been candid about her weight journey in the past. During the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she opened up about gaining weight in an Instagram post that showed her standing on a scale. But since that point, she's stepped up her health and wellness routines to get back on track.

Case in point: These days, Gayle stays pretty active. Back in April, she posted on Instagram that she joined good friends Oprah Winfrey, Ava DuVernay, and others for a wellness retreat in Italy. Gayle also teamed up with Oprah for an indoor Peloton hiking class last month, a first for the two, according to the news anchor’s Instagram video.
