Lucky passengers on a recent flight to the UK found themselves being handed a pair of noise-cancelling headphones by none other than Hollywood couple George and Amal Clooney - as a precautionary measure in case their six-month-old twins became disgruntled mid-flight.

According to People and Page Six, the 56-year-old actor and 39-year-old human rights lawyer handed out the devices - which featured the logo of Clooney's Casamigos Tequila, of course - along with a note which read: "Apologizing ahead of time."

The pair welcomed twins Ella and Alexander in June, with Clooney recently revealing why he and Amal chose such traditional names for their children.

"We figured these kids are going to be looked at a lot and watched and [have their] every move sort of judged... So we looked for some sort of normal names," he told Entertainment Tonight.

"We didn't have any great inspiration. It wasn't Alexander the Great and Ella Fitzgerald."

Discussing their very distinct personalities, he added: "They start out with a personality right off the bat. [Alexander] is a thug already... He's a moose! Literally, he just sits and he eats. She's [Ella] very elegant, and all eyes. She looks like Amal, thank god."

Earlier this week, Clooney's best friend and Casamigos co-founder Rande Gerber disclosed just how generous the star really is.

Gerber - married to Cindy Crawford and father to model Kaia Gerber- recalled a time in 2013 when Clooney gave his friends one million dollars each, and even paid their taxes for the year.

"There’s a group of guys we call 'The Boys'," Gerber recounted. "George had called me and 'The Boys' and said, 'Hey, mark September 27th, 2013, on your calendar. Everyone's going to come to my house for dinner.'

"George begins to say, 'Listen, I want you guys to know how much you’ve meant to me and how much you mean to me in my life. I came to L.A., I slept on your couch. I’m so fortunate in my life to have all of you and I couldn’t be where I am today without all of you.

"'So, it was really important to me that while we’re still all here together, that I give back. So I want you all to open your suitcases,'" Clooney told the group, according to Gerber. "We open it up, and it’s $1 million dollars in $20 bills. Every one of us – 14 of us – got $1 million. Every single one of us. We're in shock."
