George Clooney was reportedly able to get both Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton to dance with him at Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding reception on Saturday. But his charm has limits, The Mirror reports: he tried to ask Sarah Ferguson to dance with him, but Fergie declined. "Fergie snubbed him when he asked her to dance, much to the amusement of other guests," The Mirror wrote. Can't win 'em all (though it seems, despite earlier reports, Fergie did manage to get an invite to the nighttime reception.)
The Mirror has several other intimate details about the private evening reception that Prince Charles hosted for 200 guests at Frogmore House.
Harry and Markle both made speeches, allegedly. In his, Harry said: “You are the people that make ‘me’ me in my Harry life, which as you know is the backbone to Prince Harry. Now I’m going to hand over to my far better half…”
Markle had an "emotional speech," according to The Mirror. She thanked the royal family for welcoming her into the “firm” and her close friends for supporting her in the last few weeks. She ended it by saying, “I have found my prince.”
Generally, a guest told the outlet, “It was informal and a lovely atmosphere. The whole evening had a really chilled, festival vibe.”
