Gigi Hadid Just Shared a Rare PDA Photo with Her "Baby Daddy" Zayn Malik

Like her relationship with Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid has kept the details of her pregnancy as private as possible. But in a rare move, Gigi referenced both her baby and longtime boyfriend in a new PDA-filled selfie posted to Instagram.

"Baby daddy," Hadid captioned a photo of the expectant parents sharing a sweet kiss during what appears to be a low-key night at home.

After much social media speculation, Gigi confirmed the couple was expecting their first child together while appearing on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in April. "Congratulations on expecting a baby!" Fallon told Hadid via video chat. "Thank you so much," she replied, adding: "Obviously we wished we could have announced it on our own terms, but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well-wishes."

Last month, Gigi gifted her followers with a glimpse of her bare baby bump during an Instagram Live session. "There's my belly y'all. Like, it's there," she said. As to why she's been keeping her pregnancy so private, the mom-to-be explained, "My pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world. People have lost lives during coronavirus and still happening."

She continued, "Then, we moved into the re-emergence of the BLM movement and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that." Still, fans will have the opportunity to keep up with Hadid's journey to becoming a mom when she feels the time is right to release footage she's been documenting during her pregnancy.

"I'm just taking my time with sharing my pregnancy and you guys will see it when you see it," she said on IG Live. "I'm trying to document it well because I've heard a lot of people say obviously make sure you don't miss it and I will be sharing stuff like that in the future. I'm not in a rush to do it and I feel right now I just want to experience it and I don’t want to worry about waking up every day during my pregnancy and worry about having to look cute or post something."

Plus, before her new bundle of joy arrives, it seems like Gigi might also be preoccupied with baby-proofing the eclectic design of her recently-renovated New York City apartment, filled with sharp corners, edible art, and a bowl filled with pool table balls. Needless to say, she has her work cut out for her.
