One of the best parts of having a sister is being able to combine closets. When both sisters are supermodels, there are next-level borrowing opportunities. That’s why it’s unsurprising that Gigi Hadid stepped out in a dress that Bella Hadid had just worn on the runway.

On Wednesday night in Paris, Gigi celebrated the launch of her jewelry collection with Messika. For the special occasion, she chose a white long-sleeve Brandon Maxwell dress with a plunging neckline. She completed the look with a street-style-meets-high-fashion white-gold-and-diamond choker (costing 79,000 euros, or about $93,000) from the new range and lots of Gigi x Messika rings stacking her fingers. It’s no mystery why she chose the choker for her launch; Hadid told People it was her favorite look from the collection because it “can make any outfit a winner.”

Just a few weeks before, Bella Hadid walked the runway for Brandon Maxwell in the same dress. Bella was styled down with tousled, loose hair and a matching belt, while Gigi opted for a clean look with slicked-back bun. Gigi also walked in the Brandon Maxwell show, in a gorgeous high-cut skirt paired with a fuzzy sweater. Apparently, she decided the outfit Bella got to wear was more her style.

Most models don’t get to keep the luxurious clothes they wear down the runway — or if they do, it’s because they’ve been paid in clothes instead of an actual salary. Then again, Bella and Gigi Hadid aren’t most models. It’s possible that Gigi loved the dress her sister wore down the runway so much, she asked the designer for a loan. It’s also possible that she snagged it out of her sister’s suitcase when she wasn’t looking.

“I wanted to create something timeless that anyone could wear and feel beautiful in, no matter their age. On an everyday basis, less is more, and I think simply beautiful pieces of jewelry are charming,” said Hadid about her venture into jewelry. Items from the 12-piece capsule collection range from trendy to high fashion, including ear cuffs, bracelets, rings, and pendants. Ask your sister to buy a piece, and then feel free to borrow it.
