Supermodel and American Music Awards co-host, Gigi Hadid, proves she is unafraid of two things: 1) Making cringeworthy impressions and 2) Facing the wrath of an incoming president.

The 21-year-old opened Sunday night’s show with a snarky skit that poked fun at Melania Trump’s Eastern European accent, while making reference to the RNC speech she reportedly ripped off from Michelle Obama.

“This is my Melania Trump impression. I have to get the face right,” she announced before turning away from the camera, returning with an exaggerated pout “I love my husband, President Barack Obama, and our children, Sasha and Malia,” she said.

The model’s gag provoked a huge response online. While some of the audience laughed off the comments, many are accusing the model of racism.
