Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Had Their First Date Night After Becoming Parents

Hadid shared a series of photos from their casual night.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik finally had their first "date night" together after welcoming their baby girl in late September.

Amid a pandemic and likely new-parent-exhaustion, the couple opted for a casual night in. On Thursday evening, Hadid shared a series of Instagram stories of their home-cooked meal, a butter chicken piccata with mushroom pasta.

"Mom & dad's first date night," she captioned a photo of their dinner. "She's in the other room with Oma but miss her sm lol."

Last month, Malik revealed that Hadid had given birth to their first child together, a baby girl. While they haven't revealed their daughter's name, Hadid followed up with her own post, writing, "Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love."

Earlier this week, sources told E! News that "Gigi is very tired but is already an amazing mom. The first couple of weeks have been a hard transition but she hasn't complained and is very elated to be a mom."

The sources also said Malik and Hadid traveled to her mother Yolanda's family farm in Pennsylvania, where she is "their built-in nurse and they are so grateful to have her." Given that Hadid referenced "oma," a term for "grandma," in her Instagram story, this part at least seems to be confirmed.

"They feel peaceful staying there for now," E! News's source said. "Gigi wants the most privacy for their baby and wants to be able to raise her privately."
