Gigi Hadid's Wet Hair Look Will Convince You to Ditch Your Blow-Dryer

In yet another reminder that blow-drying your hair is optional this fall, we bring you Gigi Hadid, her head of hair, and her hairstylist's superior skills. The model, designer, Maybelline spokesperson, and Instagram star (girlfriend has gigs) gave her beach waves a break and stepped out for the launch of the Gigi Boot (a collaboration with Stuart Weitzman) in New York wearing a wet hair look that made us reconsider the rainy day we're clearly all crying about up in the MIMI HQ.

The trend has been slowly making its way from the runways of Altuzarra, Alexander Wang, and Givenchy (among many others) to the red carpet. So far we've seen Shailene Woodley and Bella Thorne rock the fresh-off-the-shower look, and last night, the trend got the ultimate supermodel stamp of approval.

Celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez parted Gigi's hair on the side and created a style that oozes an art deco vibe. Patrick Ta complemented the slick look with metallic chrome eyeliner and a natural lip.

While we would say the good ole hair gel days are back, we have a feeling this hairstyle look more time to ace than we can imagine, so maybe don't toss your dryers until you've got it downpat.
