It's official: Awards season begins now with the 78th annual Golden Globe Awards. The virtual ceremony will be broadcast live from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., and it's said to be a mix of in-person appearances and virtual attendance.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have signed on to host the virtual show, and they will be streaming in from different parts of the country, making this the first bi-coastal awards ceremony. While Poehler will host from The Beverly Hilton in California, Fey will be set up in The Rainbow Room inside NBC's corporate headquarters at 30 Rock in New York.

A handful of A-list presenters will be on hand at each location, while the nominees will be attending remotely. Some of the presenters you can look forward to seeing include Tiffany Haddish, Kate Hudson, Margot Robbie, Kenan Thompson, Awkwafina, Cynthia Erivo, Joaquin Phoenix, Kristen Wiig, Renee Zellweger, Kevin Bacon, Sterling K. Brown, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

As part of this year's ceremony, Norman Lear is being honoured with the Carol Burnett Award for outstanding contributions to television on or off the screen, and Jane Fonda is accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award for outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment. Spike Lee's children, Jackson Lee and Satchel Lee, are this year's Golden Globe Ambassadors and will be assisting the presentation of awards.
