If there's anyone that can pull off "mommy and me" looks past age 5, it's Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson. Not only are their styles always flawless, but they both manage to be the epitome of healthy living. And since Hudson has been vocal about getting her best wellness tips from her mom, we wanted to find out exactly what Goldie does to stay in such amazing shape, where she can pass as her grown daughter's twin.

She starts her day with green juice.

Green juice (made with celery, kale, parsley, and green peppers) is admittedly Hawn's favorite snack and breakfast. In fact, she told Buzzfeed that her pet peeve is when there isn't enough green juice around!

"I drink my green juice every day," she told People.

She keeps her meals light and simple.

In addition to always having a glass of green juice, Hawn follows a wheat-free, sugar-free, and dairy-free diet, the Manchester Evening News reports.

The actress manages to stay in such amazing shape because she doesn't eat a lot, she told People. "I think we overeat," she said.

"I do a lot of juicing, I don't put a lot of food in my stomach and I don't mix my foods too much," Hawn told People. "So if I want to have like protein I'll just eat a bowl of lentils, I won't mix it with a bunch of stuff."

Her typical meals features lots of greens.

Hawn previously told Self in 2011 that her go-to lunch is a green salad with broccolini and for dinner, she makes a green watercress soup and green beans with fish.

She snacks smart.

To maintain her daily energy to keep up with her famous daughter, Hawn enjoys a healthy snack of kale chips or almond butter crackers (which she steals from "Snatched" costar and movie daughter Amy Schumer on set), and keeps hydrated with coconut water.

Dinner is for family time.

Daughter Kate Hudson revealed that her mom taught her the importance of enjoying a good meal for Sunday dinner, which Hawn often cooked herself.

"Mom went to India a lot in the seventies, so she made curries and dal. She cooks Southern food too - her dad was from Arkansas. She makes a mean biscuits and gravy and chicken and dumplings," Hudson told Shape. "My mom has always been healthy, but she's not a health nut. I'm the same way. I absolutely believe in enjoying my food."

She occasionally has her cheat days.

As Hawn told Self, if she ever did indulge (we've all been there!), her go-to snack would be truffle fries. HEAVEN. 😍

She practices meditation and mindfulness.

Hawn is a big believer in meditation and mindfulness, even creating her foundation MindUp to help promote mindful thinking to young kids.

She told Self that she uses meditation to help herself de-stress and relax. Even her granddaughter gets it.

She passes her wellness lifestyle onto her daughter.

Hawn and Hudson are truly the perfect examples of the phrase, "like mother, like daughter." Hudson revealed that out of the many lessons and advice she's gotten from her mom: the most important ones she learned helped to shape her own healthy eating habits.

"I think it's more the stuff we eat. Like green juice - mom's been drinking green juice forever," Hudson told Allure. "In terms of the real stuff that I've learned from mom, it's her lifestyle. She was always healthy and active and drinking something green."

Sounds like a lesson we could all follow!
