Grammys 2019: Ariana Grande reveals beautiful Zac Posen gown she was going to wear on the red carpet

Well, at least now we know what Ariana Grande would've worn to the Grammys had she gone.

The singer, who dropped out of the awards show days before her scheduled appearance and performance, took to social media during the ceremony on Sunday night to not only react to winning her first-ever Grammy, but she also showed off the custom Zac Posen gown that she had been planning on wearing.

"when @zacposen makes u a custom gown it doesn’t matter if you’re singing or not," she captioned a photo of herself lying on the grown in a ballgown. "thank u."

Earlier in the evening, Grande won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for her album, "sweetener," which beat out albums by Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, P!nk, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.

The singer took to Twitter to react to her win first with a tweet that simply said, "f--k."

"I know i'm not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh) and I know I said I try not to put too much weight into these things... but f--k," she added. "This is wild and beautiful. Thank you so much."

After another tweet that called out her producers and collaborators on the album, including Pharrell and Max Martin.

"But mostly thank y'all for being my main source of joy and inspiration always," she added.

During the Grammys telecast, a new Apple commercial featuring Grande's latest hit, "7 Rings," premiered.

Grande had previously pulled out of her scheduled appearance at the show after having creative differences with the show's producers over which songs she was going to sing at the show. After producer Ken Ehrlich told The Associated Press that Grande didn't feel as though she had enough time to prepare for the show, Grande took to Twitter to blast him for lying, saying that she could put a performance together overnight.
