Haim’s “Want You Back” Music Video Will Have You Dancing in the Streets
Calling out around the world, are you ready for a brand new beat?!
We’re referencing David Bowie and Mick Jagger’s “Dancing in the Street” because after watching Haim’s new video, that’s exactly what we’d like to do. In the fresh new music video for their lead single “Want You Back,” Danielle, Este, and Alana Haim essentially stop traffic and march along city streets singing to their jam.
Each member of the sister trio wears ‘70s-inspired off-duty looks, meaning there are plenty of high-waist light-wash jeans, leather biker jackets, striped tops, vintage tees, and minimal booties. As the clip begins, the sisters strut down the road, pretending to play the drums, sing into a mic, and groove from one side to the next.
Eventually, they all break out into dance, coordinating with each other and making us want to hop out of our office chairs and do the same. Just this week, HAIM also dropped another new song, “Little of Your Love.” Their sophomore album, Something to Tell You, arrives July 7.
