What Will Happen to Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress?

Now that the hype surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding is dying down, one question still remains: What will happen to the iconic boat-neck gown?

Well, there are multiple theories. One of the most promising has been that it will go on display at Windsor Castle. The dress (designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy) is set to become the centerpiece of a temporary public exhibition, “A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” which will feature outfits and accessories from the nuptials. But will it stay in Windsor long-term?

Others believe the gown will eventually join Kate Middleton’s Alexander McQueen wedding dress, which is currently being stored in the Royal Collection. But, hey, even the Duchess of Cambridge agreed to a similar ten-week wedding gown exhibition at the annual opening of Buckingham Palace following her 2011 nuptials.

Either way, anything is better than leaving it in the back of her closet.
