Harry Styles Looks ‘Perfect’ in Head-to-Toe Gucci Florals, Redefines Teen Heartthrob

America’s teens have traditionally swooned over muscled young men in tight t-shirts and leather jackets. From Danny Zuko to Zac Efron, sartorial prowess isn’t what lands a dude the cover of Tiger Beat (or Teen Vogue, depending on your generation). Harry Styles, however, is redefining what a teenage heartthrob looks like. And he’s doing so by wearing the most talked about women’s collection of the year.

Fashion fell hard for Gucci in 2015. Like, so very hard. Gone was the obsession with Celine’s minimalism and in its place, Alessandro Michele convinced everyone to jump back on the boho bandwagon, to invest in flowing florals and fur-covered shoes. While fashion’s blogger/tastemaker/influencer crowd clamored for anything with a visible “G” and/or horse bit, no one embraced the brand’s aesthetic as enthusiastically as Harry Styles. Frankly, the One Directioner appears to be obsessed.

In fact, given how much Gucci Styles wears, from the silk shirts to the floral pants—many of which were originally designed to be worn by women, he’s probably pretty pissed that Jared Leto was named the face of the brand’s Guilty fragrance on Friday. So in response, Styles wore his boldest look yet—a deep red suit covered in yellow flowers—on the latest episode of X-Factor, fueling fire to the ongoing campaign to make the 21-year-old Brit the face of Gucci. And maybe it’s just us… but we’d say he looks pretty “Perfect” in every single one of those flower-covered outfits.
