Heidi Klum’s Vanilla Chai Nails Are So Cozy for Fall

Heidi Klum may be known and beloved for her over-the-top Halloween costumes, but she seems to be saving her maximalism for late October festivities. Until then, the supermodel appears to be taking a less-is-more approach to beauty and glam.
More specifically, Klum has been embracing quiet-luxury-inspired aesthetics for the season, leaning hard into neutral shades like vanilla and chai for both her hair and nails.
After debuting a chic new shade of vanilla chai blonde hair, Klum and her nail artist Tom Bachik—whose clients include other A-list nail influencers such as Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lopez—took to Instagram to show off her minimalist manicure style.
The mani in question is subtle yet chic. Filed into a long almond shape and painted the perfect blend of vanilla and chai polish, Klum’s nails are reminiscent of Selena Gomez’s “summer blush” mani and Jennifer Lopez’s American mani, but with a classically understated autumnal twist.
“HEIDI,” Bachik captioned the post, followed by three fire-sign emojis—and you can say that again. Klum shared the same photo of her nails to her own Instagram grid. She also posted a still selfie showing off her nails—and gorgeous ring and statement necklace by jewelry designer Messika Paris—and a glamorous selfie video. (If you were Heidi Klum wouldn’t you do the same?)
Klum and her nails were photographed later that evening, as well, attending the Messika Paris womenswear spring-summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week, alongside her husband, Tom Kaulitz. And that was after Klum walked the runway for the Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris–Walk Your Worth womenswear spring-summer 2025 show. How she has the energy for all this slaying, we’ll never know.
While Bachik has yet to share exactly which polish he used to create the Heidi Klum–approved subtly chic vanilla chai manicure, we do know that he always preps his clients cuticles and nais with Tweezerman x Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set. In terms of polish, can get a nearly identical look with Londontown Neutral Shades Nail Polish in Murray Me, which is described as a “perfect French vanilla cream.”
If you prefer gel, we also know that Bachik used Apres Light and Shadow Gel Polish in 608 Could’ve Would’ve Should’ve, which is a barely there sheer nude, for Gomez’s “Summer Blush” mani, and that he’s shared his favorite nude-base nail polishes of all time in the past.
Some of Bachik’s go-to nude shades include PLA Fashionably Light, Aprés Nail Cherub and Forgotten Film, and Essie Mademoiselle.
In the meantime, who’s taking bets on Heidi Klum’s Halloween costume this year?
