She isn’t afraid to take control

After watching footage of their engagement photo-all and interview, body language expert Judi James says Meghan subtly, and not-so-subtly took control of the situation. “It’s a bit of a role reversal,” James told Newsweek. “When she did the interview, she was clearly very eloquent, comfortable and confident. She finished his sentences for him, she interrupted him once or twice, she even corrected him at one point when he was talking about the person that introduced them and she said, ‘We don’t want to mention names.’”
Unlike Princess Diana and Kate Middleton before her, Meghan is the first royal bride-to-be to appear comfortable in front of the cameras. James continues, “I think, for women, it was quite healthy to see the first royal bride-to-be who’s taking that kind of role in the interviews. It’s usually quite submissive—they look quite anxious.”

Here's what experts have to say about Meghan Markle's body language

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle prepare for what will undoubtedly be the wedding of the year, all eyes are on Meghan as she performs her first official duties as an almost-royal. Despite being a successful actress, humanitarian and designer (we see you, Reitmans), her relationship with Harry set off a media frenzy, and catapulted her into the international limelight.

Even though we’ve already declared the couple to be #goals, body language experts have been studying Meghan during public appearances, and believe they’ve uncovered what her actions could mean about her transition into royal life.
