Here's a look Inside Prince William and Kate Middleton's $27,000 vacation villa in Mustique
Prince William and Kate Middleton are no strangers to Mustique. The private Caribbean island has long been a favorite vacation spot for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and considering the crystal clear waters, island security and now, a look at their luxury villa, it's easy to see why.
The royal family most recently jetted to the island for a two-week holiday, celebrating Prince George's sixth birthday while they were there. According to The Sun, they stayed at Antilles, a villa built in 2016 and owned by William's longtime friend, Andrew Dunn.
Antille's website describes the stunning property as a one-story contemporary colonial-style villa with northern views that look across Bequia and St. Vincent. It has five bedrooms, including two king suites with indoor/outdoor showers and private gardens, as well as a kid-friendly bedroom with two sets of bunk beds.
“The kids, who have stayed there before, absolutely love the bunk beds and child friendly facilities," a source told The Sun. "Antilles is the newest villa on the island and is totally set up for a family."
Outside, the home is equipped with a heated 18-meter infinity pool with a jacuzzi and furniture for lounging in the sun.
Antilles is also fully-staffed with a butler, housekeeper, gardener and a chef, who according to a sample menu, prepares everything from omelets and pizza to prawn ceviche and lobster escargot.
"The focus is on al fresco dining at Antilles. With a choice of indoor and outdoor dining locations, and a trained chef, menus can be tailored to suit every taste and preference," the website reads.
Should the Cambridge family want to get away to go to the beach, the villa is also stocked with two Kawasaki Mules and a Jeep.
Of course, the price for such comforts at Antilles is not cheap. The villa costs an average of $27,000 per week, plus service charges and tips for the staff.
The Cambridges have traveled to Mustique on several occasions, including last year for George's fifth birthday, where the future king learned how to swim (possibly in the infinity pool?). In the past, the royal couple has also enjoyed snorkeling, scuba diving, playing tennis and a bit of partying.
“It is incredibly private and incredibly discreet but not remote," another source told The Sun. "They know and trust the staff who work there and they are creatures of habit. Kate used to go there, the Middletons used to go there. The family love[s] it."
