Here's Where to Watch and Stream the Oscar-Nominated Movie 'Promising Young Woman'
With so many important movies nominated at this year's upcoming Academy Awards, it will be hard to see them all. But if you're aiming to watch at least a few before the Oscars ceremony, let Promising Young Woman be one of them.
The dark thriller, directed by Emerald Fennell, has earned five Oscar nods, including in the Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Original Screenplay categories. In the 2020 film, Carey Mulligan stars as Cassie Thomas, a medical-school dropout who will stop at nothing to get revenge on a classmate. The movie also stars Bo Burnham, Jennifer Coolidge, Laverne Cox, Connie Britton, Clancy Brown and Alison Brie.
Where to Watch and Stream Promising Young Woman
There are several streaming options for Promising Young Woman. Amazon Prime Video subscribers can rent the movie for $5.99 or buy it for $19.99. Otherwise, the movie is also available to rent for $5.99 on Vudu, Google Play, and Apple TV. The movie is not currently on Netflix or Hulu at the moment, but we will be sure to update this post if that changes.
Promising Young Woman is also playing in select theaters across the country. Make sure to check your state's local health guidelines before purchasing any tickets. It's worth pointing out that the CDC advises limiting indoor activities, wearing a mask and practicing social distancing whenever possible.
