Here's Why P!nk Wasn't at the 2019 Grammy Awards

This year, P!nk received her 20th Grammy Award nomination, but on Sunday night the singer was nowhere to be found at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. There's no need to worry, though - the singer had a good reason for skipping the 61st annual Grammy Awards.

Not only did the 39-year-old have a crazy week - she received a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame and sang her heart out while paying tribute to Dolly Parton at MusiCares - she also has a sick kid on her hands.

P!nk, who has won three Grammys in her career, was up for Best Pop Vocal Album but lost out to Ariana Grande, who ended up taking home the award. She tweeted that she thought it was "rad" to lose the Grammy, and let her fans know that she was on her way to give her "sick baby" a bath.

Considering her daughter Willow was with her during MusiCares on Saturday, we're assuming the sick child is P!nk's two-year-old son Jameson.

Even though losing (and taking care of a sick toddler) can be rough, P!nk seems to be in good spirits, especially after her kids made her an adorable Grammy Award out of tin foil. (We're guessing it'll go right next to her 2004 Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.)

P!nk wasn't the only nominee who was absent from Sunday night's award show. Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Drake, Beyonce, and Bradley Cooper (just to name a few) were all missing as well.

Let's hope everyone's simply having a drama-free night at home, like P!nk.
