It's been a minute since we've seen Hilary Swank grace the big screen, but the 44-year-old actress is keeping busy...at the gym, that is. The Academy Award winner regularly posts her workouts on her Instagram in a series she calls #FitnessFriday. In a new video she posted this past week, Swank shows off her insanely fit body as she performs kettlebell swings and sled pushes.

"This always slays me...Wait for it. My trainer has me do three sets of this at the END of my workout! Cruelty? It's #FitnessFriday what are you doing? #WhatsYourMissionStatement #MakeaChoice #MakeItHappen," Swank captioned her post.

Kettlebell swings are a great total-body exercise that works your core, glutes, and arms. Because you're working against the gravity of the weight, they also get your heart rate up so you burn calories and rev up your metabolism. In the second exercise, Swank does sled pushes, which are exercises that help develop power in your legs and glutes, while also building some core and upper body strength.

Working out has become a passion for Swank as much as acting. In fact, she started her own athleisure line called Mission Statement. We got the first dose of Swank's fitness journey when she starred in Clint Eastwood's Million Dollar Baby, where she plays an amateur boxer who makes it big in the professional world. During a Hollywood Reporter interview, Swank revealed that she worked out for five hours a day to get in shape for the role. "I had to eat 210 grams of protein a day. I had to eat 60 egg whites in a day and I couldn't. So every morning I would drink them," Swank said in the interview. "So in the night, I had to wake up and drink protein shakes. I put on 23 pounds of muscle," Swank continued.

While she might not be downing egg whites every morning anymore, Swank has clearly kept up her workout routine. Swank regularly lifts with kettlebells and uses TRX bands, performing a combination of push and pull exercises.

We're sweating just watching Swank work out. Here, Swank challenges her balance by performing a single-leg deadlift to row with a cable machine.

It's safe to say that Swank isn't afraid to play with a variety of fitness equipment. In this video, Swank works her glutes with landmine squats and shoulder presses.

We don't know about you, but Swank has inspired us to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone during our workouts with different equipment.
