Not only is Hillary Clinton a role model, she’s also a trendsetter.

The democratic presidential nominee rocked the cold shoulder look — an attitude she deservedly gives her opponent, Donald Trump — in the 1990s when she was the first lady and her husband Bill Clinton was the president. To host the National Governors Association winter meeting at the first state dinner of the Clintons’s administration in 1993, she wore a black Donna Karan gown with a high neck and long sleeves. The dress featured cutouts on the shoulders, creating the cold shoulder look.

Naturally, lots of women want to be like the lady who might become the country’s first female president, including a few celebrities who are trying to dress the part.

As Election Day nears and people attempt to bring Clinton down by digging up gossip from her past, a few celebs are turning to her closet to dig up something else from her past: her style. Recently, Kristin Stewart and Kim Kardashian West brought back Clinton’s cold shoulder trend.

In 2015, Kardashian West hosted a talk about her book Selfish in a dress that was almost identical to the one Clinton wore that night in February 1993. The reality star rocked a skin tight (obviously) black number with a high neck, long sleeves, and cutouts at the shoulders. Of course, in true Kardashian fashion, she hiked up the skirt a bit to mid-shin, still managing to keep it smart and sophisticated, like Clinton. According to Daily Mail, the dress was Balmain.

And on Tuesday night, Stewart stepped out in a similarly sleek look. She was honored at the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards in a black cut-out Roberto Cavalli dress with her shoulders and waist exposed. Like Clinton’s, the dress had long sleeves, but like Kardashian West’s, it stretched to just above the ankle.

Great ladies dress alike.
