Huma Abedin, the New York-based aide to Hillary Clinton, accompanied her boss to the inauguration of President Donald Trump on Friday.

The dress speaks for itself.

Abedin, who’s separated from her sexting husband, former congressman Anthony Weiner, wasn’t wearing a wedding band, either. Noted.

But it’s the frock that so fascinating. The style-conscious political operative, who served and presumably still serves as Clinton’s most loyal aide, favored prints, patterns and bright hues while campaigning. Her closet was the talk of the fashion world.

But this time, the only spot of color was her signature red lip. Otherwise, she kept it funereal in a sleeveless dress and matching footwear. First Lady Melania Trump opted for blue Ralph Lauren, while Ivanka Trump chose a white Oscar de la Renta pantsuit.
