It proved difficult for wedding guests to remain graceful and composed as they made their way into St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Friday. Instead, women as well as men were caught with their hands on their heads to prevent their headpieces from flying away — although some attempts were unsuccessful.
Naturally, people on Twitter had fun providing commentary on the whirlwind wedding entrances.
Fascinators are literally flying off in the wind and I am living for it #RoyalWedding2

Loving the beautiful flowers and foliage outside Windsor Castle but feel bad for all the ladies in big hats… it's a bit windy! #RoyalWedding2

It is very very windy today. I do hope #PrincessEugenie has extra bobby pins on her hair. We don't want any veil mishaps on the way from her carriage to the church #RoyalWedding2 pic.twitter.com/BTdWNqm4XV

Luckily for the bride herself, Eugenie didn’t suffer any wardrobe mishaps while making her way into the chapel in her beautiful gown.
