Holy moly, Halle Berry. There are no words for this sexy look.

At Monday night’s NAACP Image Awards, Halle Berry marched a look straight from the runway to the red carpet. The actress was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Kidnap. She lost the award, but still won everyone’s attention with her sheer lace Reem Acra gown.

The strapless number was made of red and black lace, with sheer panels that managed to show off her legs even with a floor-length hemline. Speaking of the floor, the gown also had a dramatic, lacy train that trailed behind her. Berry completed the look with a simple, glowing makeup and hair swept up into a relaxed bun.

The dress (well, and Berry herself) even managed to move Laverne Cox to tears. “I finally met @halleberry tonight. I got teary. She has been such a huge inspiration for me for so much of my life. Thank you Ms. Berry for your incredible career and all the inspiration and being so sweet as I totally fanned out,” Cox wrote on Instagram.

Monday’s red carpet look is just one in a line of inspired fashion choices Berry has made this season. Earlier this week, she shared a photo of herself with longtime stylist Lindsay Flores — both in sparkly black.

She also stayed on theme at the all-black Golden Globes, wearing a gothic dress that still exuded fun thanks to a plunging neckline, ruffled skirt, see-through elements.

Late last year, she wore her politics right on her chest with a graphic tee that read “Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History.” She captioned her photo, “Mood when #Feminism is announced #WordoftheYear by Webster’s Dictionary.”

It’s still just the beginning of awards season, which means Berry has plenty more chances to turn it out.
