Husband's love letter to his 'curvy' wife will make you swoon
One man’s sweet post to his “curvy” wife is melting hearts across the internet.
“I love this woman and her curvy body,” wrote activist and author Robbie Tripp in a heartwarming post which showed him and his wife, Sarah Tripp, cuddling on the beach. “As a teenager, I was often teased by my friends for my attraction to girls on the thicker side, ones who were shorter and curvier, girls that the average (basic) bro might refer to as ‘chubby’ or even ‘fat.’”
As he grew up, Robbie became more aware of the classic standard of beauty portrayed in the media and how it “marginalizes women” by favouring tall, thin and lean women.
“I realized how many men have bought into that lie,” he wrote. “For me, there is nothing sexier than this woman right here: think thighs, big booty, cute little side roll, etc.”
“There’s nothing sexier to me than a woman who is both curvy and confident; this gorgeous girl I married fills out every inch of her jeans and is still the most beautiful one in the room,” he continued.
Robbie ends his post with some words of advice for men and women.
“Guys, rethink what society has told you that you should desire. A real woman is not a porn star or a bikini mannequin or a movie character. She’s real. She has beautiful stretch marks on her hips and cute little dimples on her booty,” he wrote. “Girls, don’t ever fool yourself by thinking you have to fit a certain mold to be loved and appreciated. There is a guy out there who is going to celebrate you for exactly who you are, someone who will love you like I love my Sarah.”
Social media absolutely loved his romantic and body positive message, his post received over 14,000 likes and plenty of positive comments praising Robbie and Sarah.
“Thank you for giving every woman who reads this new found confidence and self worth,” wrote one commenter.
“This gives me hope [that] I’ll find love someday. Being chubby I don’t think it’s possible 99 per cent of the time,” wrote another.
One even joked, “Any chance you have a slightly older brother with the same kind of soul?”

Sarah Tripp told TODAY that she was touched by her husband’s post and that he has been a constant supporter in helping her love her body.
“He always makes me feel so loved and appreciated,” she said. “As a body-positive fashion blogger, I’ve been very open about my body love journey and my goal to help other curvy women learn to love their body. I just feel so lucky that I have a husband who has loved every inch of me since the day we met.”
On Wednesday night, Robbie posted another photo of the couple expressing his surprise at how his previous post went viral and said that he particularly loved “seeing men from around the world tagging their girlfriend [or] wife and telling her how much they love her curvy body.”
