The radio DJ has his fair share of controversies in his career, but it seems he may have taken on more than he bargained for as he joins the likes of Matt Hancock, Boy George and Seann Walsh in the upcoming series.
Will his time in Australia prove to be a change in the tides of the former shock jock?
Here's everything we know about him...
Who is Chris Moyles?
Chris Moyles, born February 22nd, 1974, is best known as a radio DJ and television presenter.
Moyles started his career while still at school, hosting hospital radio shows. This later gave way to stints at local radio stations Aire FM, The Pulse of West Yorkshire, and Signal 1 in Stoke-On-Trent.
In 1996, he joined Capital FM, where he had a notorious rivalry with DJ Neil Fox. This resulted in a complained by Ofcom being upheld against him after comments made about Fox on air.
He joined BBC Radio One in July 1997 and remained with them through to September 2012, during which time he had an eight-year stint as the host of their breakfast show.
During this time he also moved over to presenting, doing stints on Big Brother's Big Mouth, The Big Breakfast, Top Of The Pops and Chris Moyles' Quiz Night.
Moyles' blunt and irreverent form of presenting often courted controversy and complaints, with some of his comments at the time being considered homophobic and sexist.
This included comments about 'wanting to take Charlotte Church's virginity when she turned 16', referring to a not wanting a ringtone because it 'was gay', mocking Will Young, and referring to women who wee in the shower as 'whores'.
This gave him the moniker of being a 'bad boy' of radio.
In 2012, he was named as one of the celebrities alongside Jimmy Carr involved in a tax avoidance scheme.
He has been with long-term girlfriend Tiffany Austin since 2015.
What has Chris Moyles said about joining 'I'm A Celebrity' 2022?
Chris Moyles by his own admission isn't sure that signing up to this year's I'm A Celebrity is the best idea… but it's too late to turn back now.
Speaking ahead of the show's release, he said: "Some people say if something scares you, then do it. But I am a firm believer you shouldn’t scare yourself! I am a big fan of my own comfort zone, too."
“In the past, I always said no to offers to take part. But this year, I didn’t say no immediately, and I ended up going to a meeting," Moyles added. "Now I don’t know why I said yes. But I am a huge fan of the show and I know what I am letting myself in for! My friends who have done it before have told me I will have a great time.”

While admitting he's not petrified of heights, he's also got another horrible endurance test he needs to work on… not being able to have a good old cup of tea.
"I am such a Yorkshire man, not having tea will be difficult to take,” he said. "I used to be a lot bigger so I am no stranger to cutting down on food but not having a mug of tea is going to be very tricky. I am staying well out of the cooking, too. I don’t want to poison my campmates!"
