Instagram influencer has been told she looks like Lady Gaga more than 677 times

A young woman who goes by the name of Amethyst Rose has been compared to Lady Gaga at least 677 times. How does she know? She counted.

The 18-year-old is a dead ringer for the singer — and she knows it (mostly because people comment on her photos saying it all the time). With more than 44,000 followers, Rose looks so much like Gaga it’s safe to assume that some people might have followed her thinking they were following the Grammy winner.

So the other day I counted how many lady Gaga comments I've gotten because I always joke that if I had a dollar for every time someone had called me that I'd be rich and it was 677. 677 hypothetical dollars which is rich to me. That's of course not including the pictures I have deleted or in person comments. But this was the first picture where people really started noticing lol. Also I freaking miss summer already

Rose’s latest Instagram post features her sitting in a chair in a bandeau style bikini, with her profile to the camera and her short blue hair messy. “So the other day I counted how many lady Gaga comments I’ve gotten because I always joke that if I had a dollar for every time someone had called me that I’d be rich and it was 677,” Rose captioned the post. “677 hypothetical dollars which is rich to me. Let me go on a little rant today just because it's been a common thing being brought up lately. Just because I am curvy doesn't mean I always liked being this way! I have been curvy since I hit puberty and unfortunately it made me appear a lot older and in result I would get harassed by a lot of older men. I remember never wanting to go anywhere without having a baggy t shirt on because I was always being hit on. When I would kindly say I'm only 13 it would result in either being harassed even more or having men tell me I was tricking them and I would get into a lot of trouble one day. The main reason of why my eating disorder started is because I wanted to get rid of any curve on my body especially my boobs since they always seemed to show even through a baggy t shirt. I've learned to accept my body and love it for what it is now. I just wanted to let you know that just because someone is pretty or has a "perfect body" doesn't mean they once didn't like it. I have every right to talk about my problems I had before with not loving my body. Don't ever let someone tell you that your problems aren't significant enough. If you have a problem, whatever it may be, and you feel you need help GET THAT HELP. Don't let anyone downgrade you or compare problems to make you feel like yours isn't as bad. Our minds are very strong and we all work differently so make sure you're caring for your mind despite what others say. This rant kinda went all wacky as most of mine do but anyways I just wanted to let everyone know that if you're having a rough time please take care of it ☺️ stay healthy and happy #ootd

I did some lady Gaga inspired makeup today since a whole ton of you thought that this picture of her was me lol. Ps I enjoy doing this I think it's fun I'm not trying to be her or like her. (Also please don't say I'm prettier than her or visa versa because I don't take it as a compliment it actually makes me feel really bad because I don't know how to respond. I don't want it to be a competition. I think she's stunning and she doesn't need to be compared to anyone because she's her own person)

Can I just say I'm SO proud of myself for learning to love my body and there's no way I'll stop posting about it. I don't post these pictures for my body to be sexualized I don't wear the clothes I wear to be honked at by guys. I do everything for myself. Because I'm confident after 11 years of hating myself and hiding my body. I refuse to be brought down by people and I genuinely hope one day the people bringing me down find happiness in themselves too. I know a ton of you want curves but having them since I was 12 wasn't always ideal. Keep in mind I also grew up seeing skinny models and it wasn't just until these last few years that curves were in. Even after curves were being praised I was unhappy with my body. The moral of the story is that if you're comfortable in your own skin don't be afraid to show it and take pride in it! If you aren't comfortable in your skin keep working for that comfort! You only get one body and one day you will be happy with it! It takes time and effort but can be done. ☺️

It’s definitely in part because of her masterful winged eyeliner, pouty lips, and scraggly hair, all characteristics the singer is known for.

But if you think the resemblance is simply a result of Rose’s “Gaga-inspired” makeup, you’re wrong. The Californian even looks like Gaga without makeup.

(EDIT: IF YOU THINK I LOOK LIKE GAGA NOW WAIT UNTIL MY NEW WIG COMES)Since I've been drinking my water again lately my skin is clearing up annnnddd I don't need to fill in my eyebrows anymore I just put soap in them to keep them in place because it works better than eyebrow gel. Don't get me wrong my skin isn't always this clear lol

It would explain why my mom never named me! Lol but truly I do love being compared to these queens also how devastating that Amy is no longer with us because she would have such wonderful music and probably would be slaying all of social media
