Jenna Jameson says her keto lifestyle has done more than just trim her waistline.
The 44-year-old former adult film star who shed more than 80 lbs. by sticking to the low carb, high fat diet says her new way of eating has improved her skin and drastically changed the shape of her face.
“I never talked about how changing my diet has impacted the inflammation in my body,” the mom of three wrote in a new post. “Not only has my face changed from weight-loss, but eating whole foods and next to zero processed foods has made my skin better.”
Jameson says she now has “less puffiness” and that her joints don’t hurt her anymore.
“It’s as if I’ve turned back the clock,” she said, noting that she also adheres to intermittent fasting, and eats all of her meals between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Jameson also announced her new Instagram page, Keto Can’t Lose, where she shares her ketogenic diet lifestyle tips and tricks with fans.
The busy mom says the first tip of going keto is to clean out your kitchen.
“Get rid of everything with hidden sugars and all the processed nasty garbage you’ve been poisoning yourself with,” Jameson told her followers last month. “I look at sugar like poison, it helps me refuse to eat it!”
When grocery shopping, opt for organic and grass-fed foods whenever possible.
“Invest in your insides,” she said. “Good rule of thumb is if it is a whole food not a mixture of chemicals, it’s what god intended you eat! Once you get into the groove eating keto becomes second nature.”
