  • Jada Pinkett Smith just shared a bikini photo on Instagram, and the mom of two has never looked better at 47.

  • Lounging on a boat, Smith stuns with waist-length braids and a tiny green bikini, showing off her insanely toned abs.

  • Smith stays fit with family trips to the gym, bodyweight training, and a healthy diet.

From Jennifer Lopez to Halle Berry to Gabrielle Union, it seems like there’s no shortage of inspiring 40- and 50-something women who are aging beyond gracefully. You can add Jada Pinkett Smith to that club: The 47-year-old actress and mother of two just shared a photo on Instagram looking better than ever — and we’re here for it!

In the stunning photo, Jada poses on a boat as she catches some rays in a green triangle bikini. “I’ll take that joyful hot girl summer thank you🌞✨” she wrote in the caption, referencing Megan Thee Stallion’s1 trending “hot girl summer” concept. Looking like a golden goddess, the Red Talk Table host shows off her incredible six pack abs, glowing skin, and waist-length braids.

Jada is joined by her husband Will Smith and their children, Willow and Jaden, as they boat around the crystal-blue Mediterranean Sea near Greece. Naturally, Will has spent a good chunk of the trip poking fun at his family and documenting it to his Instagram, too.

During one moment while Willow was touching up Jada’s braids on the boat, Will shared a hilarious clip saying, “Jada just got her hair greased... You’re putting grease in Greece,” to which Willow rolled her eyes and Jada responded “Thank you!” as she pushes his phone away.

Clearly, his main goal as a dad is to poke fun at his family and make everyone laugh. Jada, on the other hand, is busy soaking in the sun looking flawless — but she works hard for those abs.

Turns out, staying active has always been important to her. Jada told Shape that her mother Adrienne (who also looks amazing, naturally) encouraged her to practice gymnastics, dancing, and horseback riding. “Sitting at home on a Saturday or Sunday was never an option,” she said.

Now, the entire Smith family, including the kids, hits the gym together. “They love to go to the gym with Will and me, but surfing and snowboarding is what we do together as a family for fun,” Jada told Shape.

That three generational thing✨

At one point, the star even wanted to compete in fitness competitions, but she scaled back from heavy lifting to training with lighter weights and higher reps. Jada also told Shape that she loves to tone her legs and glutes using stairs. “With the steps, I can sculpt glutes, quads, and calves; it’s a serious lower-body workout, and at the same time, I’m doing cardio,” she said.

Though Jada likes to hit the gym, she also has shared some videos of herself completing a bodyweight core challenge that previously went viral on Instagram called 7 Exercise Core & #WallWorkoutChallenge. Designed by trainer Jeanette Jenkins, the challenge involves a series of exercises — including mountain climbers, plank toe taps, and plank walks — completed in handstand form against a wall.

“But the number one reason I go to the gym is because it keeps me sane. It gives me a place to exert energy, frustration, sadness, happiness, and joy,” Jada said, per OK! Magazine. “I don’t go to the gym just to look good. I go because it also keeps my head straight.”

A healthy diet is also important to the actress, but she doesn’t shy away from healthy carbs. “Breakfast is oatmeal, a banana, and another piece of fruit like a grapefruit or an orange. Later I have soft-boiled eggs or an egg-white omelet with spinach or salad. I make sure to have a lot of greens and fruit in my diet,” she said. She still enjoys the occasional treat (like pizza) and tries to maintain some balance.

Whatever she’s doing, it’s clearly working.
