'Fox and Friends' co-host Janice Dean called ‘beacon of strength’ after sharing MS ‘flare-up’ selfie

Fox & Friends co-host and meteorologist Janice Dean is being hailed as an “inspiration” after she shared a selfie during a “flare-up” on the set. The Fox News personality was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005.

Though the 49-year-old Dean acknowledged to her followers that she felt “terrible” and “in pain,” she added that she was determined to “put on a brave face.”

Well-wishers offered prayers and messages of support to Dean, whose tweet resonated with those dealing with so-called “invisible” ailments and disabilities.

Fellow Fox personalities were among those who reached out, while Meghan McCain called Dean a “beacon of strength and inspiration.”
