Don’t let the tabloids fool you — Jennifer Aniston is reportedly “very comfortable where she is” as a single woman.

According to a source, the 49-year-old is happy with her life nearly a year-and-a-half after split from Justin Theroux.

“She’s doing her thing exactly the way she wants to do it and really enjoying life,” a source close to Aniston told Us Weekly. When it comes to what’s next for the actress, she “believes that whatever her path is, it will present itself the way it should.”

The “Friends” alum, who has always been a big proponent of yoga and mental wellness, says she’s practicing self-care since her split from the 47-year-old actor.

“It takes a lot of therapy but you do absolutely get over it,” Aniston said.

Earlier this year, Aniston graced the cover of InStyle magazine and defended herself against rumours that she “can’t keep a man” or is too selfish to have a baby.

“First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken, and second, those are reckless assumptions,” she told the magazine. “No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally.”

In her new film, Aniston plays a former beauty queen turned pageant mom of an overweight teenager, nicknamed “Dumplin.'” The film was a passion project for Aniston, who also acted as producer.

“It’s about redefining beauty and how we as a society interpret what beauty is,” Aniston said. “It’s time to stop thinking beauty is in the shape of a size 4 and the right butt size and the right waist size and the right measurements. It’s old. We’ve done it. We’ve been there. Let’s move on.”
